Yoga teaches me how to focus and keep my attention centered on my body and its movements. It also keeps me calm. These things help me connect with my horse when I ride.
I highly recommend Diane from Peaceful Hills Yoga. I see her once a week and it actually makes me look forward to Mondays! Her classes help not only my body, but also my mind. I feel great after each class!
I truly feel rejuvenated after a yoga session with Diane. She's knowledgeable, helpful, and has a passion for her practice. Thank you!
Yoga has been quite beneficial in my relation to riding horses. Through yoga I have kept my body feeling young and healthy, strong and flexible, balanced and focused, all qualities that assist me when I ride my horse.
I have been a student of Diane's since 2007 and do wish I had started yoga much earlier. As time ages my body and mind, it's increasingly difficult to keep them both flexible. Diane's gentle yet encouraging teaching style not only helps me manage annoying arthritic pain, but also helps me understand my own mind-body connection through the teachings of Mr. Iyengar. I am the last one who ever believed I could actually do a headstand at 59 years of age!
I have benefited so much from doing yoga meditation classes for the last two years. I started off slowly and could hardly focus, but I’ve grown stronger and now value my meditation class as much as the poses.
Diane’s holistic approach to yoga incorporates her vast experience with dedication to study and an ethical intention. Her classes are challenging, enlightening, relieving, and uplifting in every way!
Being able to practice yoga with Diane is something that has really helped start my weeks, allowing me to refocus and be a better person and employee. Not only is it fun and relaxing, but Diane really works with each one individually allowing all skill levels to be challenged and benefit from her class.
My husband and I have been coming to Peaceful Hills Yoga for one year.. As a cancer patient, I was hopeful that yoga would increase my energy level and muscle strength—and it certainly has, in just a short time! My husband originally came along just to drive me, but has enjoyed benefits such as lower back, hip and posture improvement. The thing we love most are the small classes and the way Diane focuses on each person’s specific needs. Each session is not just a group class where you have to figure out the positions on your own, but more like an individual tutorial session. We come away every time feeling strengthened, lengthened, and stretched. Feels so good! Thanks Diane!

We are seniors who have been practicing yoga weekly with Diane for more than a year. Her workouts are well thought out, move at the right pace and are appropriately challenging. Working with Diane has taught us the benefits practicing yoga can bring to our well-being.

Before practicing with Diane, I had never done yoga. As my very first teacher, I have found that none of my other yoga experiences compare to Diane's teaching. Every time I do yoga with her, I end my session wholly relaxed and satisfied, with my body feeling great and my mind at ease. I think it's because she has a way of reading people very well, and she knows how to help you focus your energy and your mind where you need attention most. Diane is an amazing teacher!
I have been practicing yoga with Diane at Peaceful Hills Yoga for several years. It has made an enormous difference in my life. Diane is constantly expanding her knowledge and sharing new techniques with her students. When I leave a session with Diane, I feel tall, balanced and mentally at ease. Thank you, Diane, for enriching my life.
Studying yoga with Diane has helped me segue into “Senior Citizenry” more balanced, more graceful, and more harmonious. And I'm as tall as I've ever been!
Diane is an exceptional person and yoga instructor. She has taught me yoga for 9 years and it has enriched every aspect of my life.
I have been attending Diane's classes at Peaceful Hills Yoga for over 10 years. Diane encourages us to challenge ourselves in every pose, whether we have done it a hundred times or are trying it for the first time. I am inspired by Diane's practice and her teaching style and always look forward to new challenges in her class.
